#HereAndNow: Origami Butterflies on the Shrubs
The origami butterfly in the shrub was my first escape when I struggled with anxiety and depression. It began with following the instructions on how to fold it and it moved my thoughts and calmed my mind.
Then I put the origami butterfly in the shrubs and took some pictures of it. Those were the new experiences I had and I even surprised myself with how I was being creative.
Nowadays, when I feel empty and my thoughts start to think scary things, I turn to origami and it helps me to bring my mind back to the present.
